Zahrawi Group was pleased to host a CME-accredited Trauma Assessment & Management Workshop this September at Wyndham Grand Manama, bringing together 40 healthcare professionals from the Emergency Department at Salmaniya Medical Complex for an engaging day of clinical learning and practical training.

The workshop covered key principles of trauma assessment and bleeding management, with a dedicated practical session on our partner’s Axiostat® hemostatic dressings. Participants explored the different Axiostat® sizes and gained practical insight into their selection and application across a range of bleeding scenarios.

We were also pleased to welcome Shadi Albaik, Clinical Manager at Kaizmed, who joined the workshop and contributed to the clinical discussion and practical session.

Zahrawi Group KSA, in collaboration with Rameem and the Saudi Surgical Academy, proudly supported the Orthopedic Trauma & Fracture Fixation Bootcamp, a specialized educational initiative designed to equip junior orthopedic surgeons across the Kingdom with essential trauma management and fracture fixation skills.

Held in Riyadh, the two-day program brought together experienced faculty and aspiring surgeons for a comprehensive learning experience combining expert-led lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on practical training.

Covering key topics such as fracture assessment, casting and reduction techniques, open fracture management, compartment syndrome, intramedullary nailing, and advanced fixation methods, the bootcamp aimed to bridge the gap between theory and clinical practice.

Through this collaboration, the Saudi Surgical Academy, Rameem, and Zahrawi Group KSA continue their commitment to advancing surgical education and supporting the development of the next generation of orthopedic specialists in Saudi Arabia.
