Zahrawi Group was pleased to participate in the 4th EHS International Obstetrics & Gynecology Conference, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fujairah City, UAE. The event featured pre-conference workshops and a series of scientific sessions covering key OB-GYN topics such as infertility, minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, and gynecologic oncology.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting women’s health and advancing medical technology, our Surgical division showcased a range of innovative solutions from our valued partner Medtronic.

Among the highlighted technologies was the LigaSure Energy Platform, a bipolar energy system designed for precise vessel sealing. This platform plays an important role in procedures such as total laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy, offering enhanced surgical efficiency, faster operating times, and reduced blood loss.

We also presented the TruClear Hysteroscopic Mechanical Shaver, a mechanical, non-electrosurgical system used for the safe and effective removal of intrauterine tissue. Its design allows for simultaneous tissue cutting and aspiration with continuous visualization, supporting less invasive, fertility-preserving procedures for conditions such as fibroids and endometrial polyps.

In addition, we showcased the V-Loc Wound Closure Device, a knotless barbed suture that has become a key advancement in laparoscopic suturing. Its design helps improve efficiency and reduce closure time during gynecological procedures.

We are proud to announce the launch of “Parente”, the first and only Coronary PTCA Balloon fully manufactured in Saudi Arabia by our strategic partner, NABD Medical Industries — the Kingdom’s first high-tech medical device manufacturing facility.
