We are pleased to announce the successful installation of the calibration solution in the public sector in Oman, now fully operational at the Laboratory Department of Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care & Research Centre, with collaboration of Advance Instrument (AI) which is a leading manufacturer of analytical instrumentation for the clinical chemistry, life-science, and food & dairy sectors. The company’s Artel® portfolio provides a comprehensive verification and quality-assurance system designed for automated liquid-handling systems, multichannel pipettes, and single-channel pipettes. In practical terms, the solution.

Our Engineering Unit collaborated closely with the end user to identify and address key challenges within the laboratory, introducing this system as an effective and sustainable solution.

The installed system integrates Dual-Dye Ratiometric Photometric Method technology, advanced calibration software, and a complete workflow for micropipette performance verification — ensuring reliable and precise results.

This success was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our Engineering Unit team in Oman, led by Eng. Nizar, who played a pivotal role in driving the project to completion.

This milestone represents a significant advancement in improving the accuracy, traceability, and quality of pipette operations across the centre’s laboratory services.
