Zahrawi Group Medical Equipment team in Oman and our partner Medtronic hosted an event on Saturday 18th June 2022 about Anesthesia & Respiratory Management.

The event took place at the W hotel in Muscat and welcomed more than 60 attendees including Head of Departments, Doctors, Respiratory Therapist, Staff Nurses in ICU from renown hospitals such as Royal Hospital, Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Khoula Hospital and Sultan Qaboos Hospital – Salalah.

The scientific program included presentations covering topics like Shiley Tracheostomy tubes and ET tubes that features an evac lumen to enable the otherwise difficult removal of secretions from the subglottic space, the McGrath Laryngoscope that optimizes first-attempt success when compared to direct laryngoscopy, while helping minimize exposure to support your safety, too, Bispectral Index (BIS) that Uses state-of-the-art technology to process EEG information to provide a direct measurement of the patient’s level of consciousness and insight into the effects of anesthesia on the brain and INVOS Cerebral/Somatic Oximetry designed to respond quickly to cerebral desaturation events.

Overall, this event was an opportunity for Zahrawi Group and our partner Medtronic to raise awareness on important subjects related to Anesthesia and Airway Management.

In April 20 and 21 and after the end of the first quarter of 2022, Zahrawi Group held its Quarterly Business Review meetings for the GULF and KSA operations.
Senior management along with business leaders gathered and addressed market challenges along with solutions to overcome them. The QBR meetings highlighted Q1 achievements, share and celebrate success stories and growth but most importantly discuss the adequate strategy for the rest of 2022 that each Division needs to put in place to meet the annual goal.
Zahrawi Group Q1 2022 revenue reflected a double-digit growth compared to same period last year. The Group is determined to continue its growth path and with the combined efforts of all, we anticipate closing the year on a strong note.
