Zahrawi Group proudly participated in Arab Lab 2024, held from September 24 to 26 in Dubai. As a leading event in laboratory and analytical technology, Arab Lab served as an invaluable platform for us to connect, collaborate, and innovate.

Our team engaged in a series of strategic meetings with key partners and industry experts, fostering meaningful discussions that focused on emerging trends and technological advancements. These interactions not only enriched our understanding of the current landscape but also helped us identify opportunities for collaboration that align with our mission to enhance healthcare delivery.

The insights gained during the event will shape our future initiatives, allowing us to refine our services and better address the evolving needs of our clients. At Zahrawi Group, we believe that innovation stems from collaboration, and we are excited to harness the knowledge and relationships developed at Arab Lab to drive impactful change in the healthcare sector.

Zahrawi Group, in partnership with Cepheid, proudly participated in the 3rd Global Pediatrics Congress at Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai. This prestigious event, which brought together leading pediatric healthcare professionals from around the world, focused on the theme “Future Med: Harnessing Genomics, Biomics, and AI for Tomorrow’s Pediatric Care.”

At the event, Zahrawi Group’s Lab team showcased and conducted a live demo of Cepheid’s POCT (CLIA waived PCR GeneXpert Xpress System), a rapid PCR test for respiratory viruses, including Flu A & B, RSV, and COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), with the ability to give you the results for all four pathogens in just 36 minutes. Live samples were tested to demonstrate the technology’s speed and accuracy, highlighting its critical role in diagnosing pediatric patients quickly and effectively.

Additionally, Mr. Ahmed Maidan, MEA Director of Clinical Solutions at Cepheid, presented a talk titled “Preparing for Respiratory Season: Challenges, Tactics, and Impact.” He discussed the challenges in managing seasonal respiratory infections and emphasized the importance of decentralizing molecular testing to bring it closer to patients. By implementing point-of-care testing (POCT) at emergency departments, patient management can be improved, treatment accelerated, and overall outcomes enhanced.

Our participation reflects Zahrawi Group’s commitment to supporting the region’s healthcare sector with cutting-edge solutions. By working with Cepheid, a global leader in molecular diagnostics, we are contributing to faster, more accurate diagnostics that ensure children receive the best possible care.
